Entertainment and Fashion give back during Ready for Success Charity Gala Benefiting Suited for Change.  This organization provides professional clothing, career and life skills education to low-income women.  Their goal is to increase their employment and job retention potential.  Additional sponsors were @fox5newsdc and @Raheem_DeVaughn and his philanthropic Love Life Foundation.

Two words...Empire fashion.  Three words...Scream Queens fashion.  These two shows are killing it each week on the fashion front.  While none of us dressed like that while we were in college...if I had the means to have done so, you better believe I would have!  We missed both shows during World Series, week but they are back in full force.

#PopeInDC...need I say more?  I just love Pope Francis, his mission, his fearlessness and what he stands for!  He truly is #ThePeople'sPope no matter your faith or religious belief.  With the Pope's visit to DC this past week, you didn't have to be Catholic to feel his Holy presence and to be inspired by his words of peace and hope.  Plus, he is as cute as a button!  Side note, how gorgeous were our First Lady and First Daughters in their photo ops with the Pope!   

There were amazing fashions at the Emmy's this year.  Kerry Washington looked stunning in Marc Jacobs off the runway and Taraji P. Henson wore a beautiful custom and on-trend lace dress by Alexander Wang.  Modern Family stars Nolan Gould and Rico Rodriguez were also on point with their fashion on the red carpet.  However, most of us didn't even remember what anyone wore after Viola Davis gave her ground-breaking acceptance speech...and looked good while doing it!  I love her!       

EMPIRE is back for its second season and I am super excited! Ready for the drama, ready for the storylines, ready for the music...but most of all, I'm ready for the FASHION!  Follow WeStileU on social media for a weekly breakdown of the fashion's from Empire.  Cookie killed it episode one with her fashion.  She rocked some major designers (which she will do all season long...you are not ready!!!  This week, for one of her looks, she rocked a patch-work Gold and denim Moschino jacket and black skirt with black Christian Louboutin Spiked Millacolu Sandals and Kenneth Jay Lane earrings.  Loved it and can't wait to watch on Fox this coming week!
