Q: Why do people have personal stylists?
A: There are many reasons why, and they vary from person to person. Some people do not have time to shop. Others don't like to shop or feel they just don't know how to put clothing items together or that they don't have a good sense of style. Generally speaking, personal stylists are hired and paid a lot of money to help their clients look their best.
Q: Why do I need a personal stylist or a WSU membership?
A: We help our members look & feel great about their appearance. When we look & feel better at the start of our day, we perform better. Better performance leads to many positive things...promotion, meeting new people, higher self-esteem & confidence (just to name a few). Therefore, added benefits that our members receive are improved professional & personal image as well as positive personal & professional brand management. You are your very own walking advertisement. Let us help to ensure that you always have a winning ad!
Q: So what exactly is it that you do?
A: We answer fashion, style and image questions for and give advise in the same regard to our members.
Q: Do you provide any other services to members?
A: Yes. The level of service that our members receive completely depends on the membership package they selected. For example, if you select a General (Free) membership package, you can log into your member page and ask our stylists as many questions as you like; which they will answer. Please see our package details for more details.
Q: In general, what are the types of questions that members ask?
A: This varies from member to member. However, members generally ask our stylists the questions that they might normally ask a good friend when they want a second opinion about an outfit before they wear it. Only, in this case, you don't have to worry that your friend might not answer honestly for fear of hurting your feelings. Additionally, your friend in this case is a professional stylist that has your best image and appearance (and budget where applicable) in mind!
Q: Give an example of an exchange between a member and a stylist.
A: A member has to prepare for a work Holiday party and needs help deciding what to wear. Wear something old...buy something new and if so, what? Member can't decide, logs into WSU account and sends a "question" to his/her WSU stylist explaining the fashion dilemma. The stylist responses back and asks for a few more details like date of party, party theme, budget if planning to purchase something new for the event, etc. Member responds with additional information. Stylist suggests a few outfits/looks that he/she feels would be right for the member for the occasion that the member might be able to pull together from their current wardrobe. Additionally, stylist may send a few pics and links to clothing retailers of new looks for the member to consider (all communication is being exchanged via member WSU login account page). Member decides to go with one of the looks that the stylist suggested. Finally, member follows up with the stylist by uploading a photo of him/her wearing the full look to their member page. Stylist sees the photo, LOVES it and compliments the member in a reply message back!
Q: If I start off with a General (Free) membership, can I later upgrade if I decide I would like to have a stylist do my shopping for me?

Q: Is the General Package really FREE? If so, how long may I keep it?
A: Yes. For as long as you would like to.
Q: Are General members treated differently than paying members?
A: No. At WSU, we treat everyone with respect and professionalism. Additionally, it is our goal to get responses back to all members in as little turnaround time as possible; However, it should be noted that Premium members receive priority when it comes to response time.
